Buddy Programme

 

The Buddy Programmme is designed for international students in Covilhã that would like to know someone that can help them around the city. If this is your case, you came to the right place!

The ESN Covilhã Buddy Programme wants to help exchange students to establish a social and academic network starting from day one. We contribute to making the start of the semester a joyful and exciting experience for the ones starting a new journey of their life in our city.

By applying to the ESN Covilhã Buddy Program the exchange student will get a chance to meet someone that can help him around the city and to take care of all the matters such as:

  • Finding a house
  • Giving you a tour around Covilhã
  • Introduce you to other international students and the nice places to hang out
  • Introduce you to all the ESN Covilhã activities that will happen during the semester
  • Since your buddy will be a native you will get the chance to find out about all the particularities of the Portuguese lifestyle. Finally, you will be able to understand what is a Bitoque, why you should try a Pastel de Belém, be introduced to Fado, and learn why Bairro Alto is the most awesome place to hang out!
